Hey There,
I've been doing some dirt riding for a few years now (street riding for longer) but have never been on a motocross track. I was was looking at coming out for the October Race at Lake Elsinore and bringing my bro who is also LE and has limited riding experience. I'd love to come out and ride and tryout some motocross! But I wanted to see if that would be cool in a novice category or similar. I'm currently riding a Husqvarna FE350s (Dualsportish).
Thanks!

Yes!! Come on out! FPMX is a great time. I think youll have a,great time. If you havent been on a motocross track, I think youd want to race the the First Time Beginner class. I race Novice and have been racing fir several years and there are some good racers. You might also try to get out to a track a time or too prior to get a feel for motocross. We race on the vet track at Elsinore. But putting in some practice laps will help so your first time isnt on race day. It will make your experience a better one. But either way, most everyone at FPMX "has to go to work the next day" so its safe and alot of fun. If you have questions, Ed Wilson is our race coordinator, host, president, commander, official, leader, boss etc and is terrific. He can help you with any questions. Hope to see you and your bro there in October!
